Organic Sage (Salvia officinalis)

An essential culinary herb for poultry, pork, sausages, pasta and bean soups. The flavor is described as mildly peppery with notes of mint and is best used fresh but can be dried as well. Unlike most herbs that are more delicate, sage can be added during the beginning of the cooking process. If grilling, stems and leaves can even be added to hot charcoal during cooking.
